Winter Food Bank
We don't believe anyone in our community should go hungry, especially during Christmas. With support from local traders, The Amicable Society, Rotherhithe Consolidated Charities & Gomm Educational Foundation we have been able to fulfil our Christian duty by providing everyday essentials for our most vulnerable families. -Pia Longman (Exec. APRIL 2020
Mr Jones, Assistant Head, saw the potential hazard for our pupils journeying to school and community members living on Colnbrook Street. Regularly used as a cut through for London drivers, Mr Jones petitioned the council to reconsider the proposal for traffic separators allowing a safe space for all to wait during the busy hours of the school day. The determination paid off, with barriers being placed at both entrance gates on Colnbrook and Gladstone Street. A definite win for Mr Jones and St. Jude's!

MARCH 2020
As life as we knew it came to a standstill in March 2020, St. Jude's staff, together with St. George the Martyr, worked tirelessly to ensure all members of the school community had fresh food and household supplies. Assistant Headteacher, Mrs Abbassy, filled her car on a daily basis, knocking on doors and acting as a lifeline to some of our most vulnerable families.

ESOL Classes At St Jude's, we're blessed to be surrounded by many diverse and vibrant cultures. 80% of our families and many within the wider community have moved to the UK from parts of the world where English is not the spoken language. To help those who want to learn English, we provide ESOL classes completely free of charge. If you'd like to take advantage of these classes, please enquire at the office.
